S. Navy Model 1852 Officers Sword, the blade being manufactured at Manuf're a Klingenthal, as marked on the spine. This was the former location of the first Royal Weapons Factory in France. While it lost the "Royal Manufactory" status in 1838, it continued to produce edged weapons continuously until the mid 20th century. This particular sword features a triple etched French blade,
