This is a small but substantial Flintlock pistol from the French Revolution Era, as carried (in a large pocket) by French Gendarmes (Police) during the late 1700s and early 1800s. The pistol is equipped with a 6 3 4 inch barrel and has an overall length of just 12 inches, firing a most likely a 5 8" lead ball. This would pack a serious punch for anyone on the receiving end. It has a lovely walnut stock with all Iron
