This is an original German WWII Deutsche Reichsbahn aluminum railroad eagle measuring approximately 27" wide by 13 3 4" high. It retains all four threaded mounting posts on the reverse and is marked GA H within a circle, together with a GAL Mg Si alloy designation. Large cast aluminum eagles of this type were mounted to Deutsche Reichsbahn rolling stock and railway equipment during the Third Reich period. The
