Constructed of gilded silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Duke Peter Friedrich Ludwig, circumscribed by an inscription of EIN GOTT, EIN RECHT,
