To be awarded the 50 General Assault badge the following criteria must be met: 1) The recipient must not be eligible for the infantry assault badge 2) To have taken part in a minimum of 50 infantry assaults on three different days 3) To have been wounded while performing in direct or indirect infantry assaults

with an indistinguishable regimental identification with a "7" after it on the left side
