An excellent example, in silver, the obverse of the medal bearing a raised and rightward facing profile of Emperor Franz Joseph, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of SIGNUM LAUDIS (SIGN OF PRAISE), unmarked, measuring 29. 64 mm (w) x 49. 29 mm (h), on loop from a crown suspension with its period original tri fold ribbon, dark patina, light wear to ribbon, remains
