Germany, Third Reich. A 1937 Kyffhäuserbund Marksmanship Competition Victor’s Shield Hold missing all three attachment prongs(Abzeichen Plakette Schild Reichskriegerbund Wettkampfsieger 1937). Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a 1914 Iron Cross, surrounding a central bullseye target overlaid by a date of 1937 and crossed rifles, topped by a detailed depiction of the Kyffhuser Monument and a plaque bearing an inscription of WETTKAMPFSIEGER (COMBAT GAMES VICTOR), attached to a backplate with a black wool
