It is cold hardy to 40 deg. F. Produces fruit in 2 3 years. Can be grown free standing after first 2 years but needs ongoing staking on windy sites. Needs long term water management due to reduced root mass that encourages dwarfing. All rootstocks are roughly 1 4" diameter, approximately pencil size.
