In the poem, he looks forward to his life as an old man looking backward at his life while sitting by the fireside. There are lots of images with color as he describes trees and flowers and crags, and I used the colors in the images to create the colorway. The photographs show the yarn on Sock Perfection, but each yarn base will look a little different. See the information on
