M 1826 Flintlock Navy pistol made by Simeon North in Middletown, Connecticut that has been converted to the percussion ignition system. North had a 53 year relationship with the U. S. War Department, and the contract for the Model 1826 pistols was the last contract North had for martial pistols from the U. S. Government. The North Model 1826 Navy Pistol is virtually a smaller version
