Description: Yooperlite is a rare variety of Syenite, an igneous rock rich in feldspar minerals with a similar coarse grained composition to granite. Unlike other Syenite rocks, Yooperlites contain large grains of highly UV reactive sodalite. Under normal light, Yooperlite looks like a typical gray or speckled rock. However, when exposed to UV light, the Sodalite grains within Yooperlite rocks emit a bright orange or
