It has a maker mark on the back

It does not bear visible markings due to the thick wartime paint on the exterior but removing the external panel does reveal OHMS and and circuitry markings as well as wiring and mechanics

This very nice example features a 7½" barrel and matching serial number 30770 on all visible parts including barrel
