A IV Class cross, in silver, obverse bearing a St. George on horseback spearing a dragon, the reverse medallion bearing the cypher SG, with 4 on the 6 oclock arm, the 3 and 9 oclock arm presenting the impressed number 679257, measures 34. 3mm (w) x 40. 9mm (h inclusive of integral ring), weighs 11. 3 grams, suspended from loop, worn on replacement ribbon, small knocks and contact marks, lovely patina, in very fine condition.
