Hosta 'Hans Solo' is a tetraploid hosta (extra set of chromosomes), derived from a cross of Hosta 'Liberty' and a tetraploid Hosta 'Royal Standard'. This amazing hosta forms a 39" tall x 76" wide clump of 13" long x 8" wide, thick, black green leaves. Hosta 'Hans Solo' is topped in late July early August with sturdy
