Germany, SS. A Model 1933 Service Dagger, with Hanger, by Gottlieb Hammesfahr Hold 2nd Prize 1926 (in silver(SS Dienstdolch M33). A well preserved Schutzstaffel (SS) Model 1933 Service Dagger, measuring 37 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 22 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to the edges and tip. Acid etched onto the obverse is an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY) in Fraktur script, while the reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of GOTTLIEB
