This is a very nice set of two WWII Era German Kriegsmarine Navy Erkennungsmarken (Identity discs or Dog Tags), which show the variety of different periods of issue during the War. Kriegsmarine dog tags are smaller than the usual Wehrmacht variety used by the Army and SS, and are usually made of different materials. They also often display the actual name of the owner, and the other information is much more basic
