This is from an old helmet collection we recently purchased, and the previous owner had purchased it at auction in 1971. It is a Swedish Model 1921 steel helmet. First designed in 1916 having witnessed the carnage in WW1, adopted in 1921 hence the Model 1921(16) and finally put into production in 1923. Made at the ESKILSTUNA Factory in Sweden this remained current issue until 1945. This is the earliest version, with
