It does appear to have been field repainted once

however both were in extremely delicate condition

This HJ Armband is in lovely condition, looking to have seen light service, and then was brought back by a USGI. At some point the stitching in the back was undone, and it was glued to cardboard as part of a display. It was later removed, however some of the paper and glue residue is still present on the ends. We can see some staining from use before it was put on display, and it measures approximately 18 1 4" x 4 1
