This is an original WWI Era United States Army Officer visor cap with the mohair band removed, and the typical Eagle cap badge replaced with an artillery "Crossed Cannons" badge over number 78. The Cap features a black patent leather covered pressed paper or fiber visor, with a leather chin strap held in by plain split pins. The cap has a very nice condition leather liner, and the hat size is marked as a 7 1 8 (57cm)
