These are quite rare! We just received this very rare bayonet out of a large European Collection. Intended for use as a Short Sword as well as a bayonet, this Hirschfnger bayonet was used with the Prussian Infantry Flintlock musket not unlike the British Baker Rifles. Designed to hang alongside the rifled barrel fitted with a substantial bayonet bar the bayonet is numbered 433, showing that it was custom fitted to
