Germany, Imperial. A Gold Grade Wound Badge, Cut-Out Version Auction and II Class: in silvered(Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval and hollow laurel wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38. 38 mm (w) x 42. 54 mm (h), weighing 5. 9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
