Portugal, Republic. An Order Of Military Merit, Iv Class, C.1960 Newly Listed The reverse of the cockade(Ordem do Mrito Militar). Instituted 1946. In silver gilt, an enameled white four armed Cross with three pointed ends, featuring a finely enameled red Latin cross on each arm, with double sided design, surmounted by a Portuguese national tower, measuring 31. 31 mm (w) x 45. 98 mm (h inclusive of tower and integral ball), with tarnished silver, suspended by original breast ribbon with a gilded clasp depicting a badge of the Order, overall very good.
