The helmet is named by stencil to the front as follows:

Wrapped around the top of the bugle is a very nice red cord

The markings on the lock are clear and overall the metalwork is excellent

Serial number found under walnut grips is 1609 making this an early 1861 production

His original Honorable Discharge is included with this jacket. Also included is what appears to be an airbrushed painting on fabric (canvas?) that may very well have been made in country during the Vietnam
