A Italian Rsi Navy Distinguished Mine Dredging Units Badge, C.1944 United Republic of with the enamels nearly untouchedA rounded shield shaped badge constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bears the image of a dolphin avoiding a naval mine, above is inscribed DRAGAGGIO (DREDGING), topped with an anchor, the reverse is plain, marked PICCHIANI & BARLACCHI FIRENZE and bears a vertical pinback, measuring 23. 25 mm (w) x 28. 08 mm (h), very fine.
