This is a very good example of a Model 1941 Johnson rifle bayonet complete with original leather scabbard. The bayonet is numbered 999 on the muzzle ring. The leather scabbard is soft, pliable, and in very good condition. It does show some wear however, and has matured to a nice dark brown color. The stitching is mostly intact, though it was removed above the securing strap, as scabbard as issued only had allowance
