We have not had one of these for over ten years! This bayonet was designed for the Lee Enfield No. 5 MkI Jungle Carbine, which had a large flash hider that prevented earlier bayonets from fitting. The bayonet was also used with the 9 mm Sterling L2 submachine gun. This is totally original British Military production and is marked "Circled P" 1947 at the base of the blade.
