An Order of the North Star, Commander in Case, by C.F Carlman, c.1975 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac measuring 205 mm (w) x(Nordstjrneorden). Instituted 1748 by King Frederick I. In silver gilt, a commander badge featuring a white enamel Maltese cross with ball finials and crowns in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a white enamel star on a blue enamel yield with the inscription NESCIT OCCASUM, the reverse medallion mirrors the obverse, the cross is surmounted by a large crown with enamel details, measures 54. 8 mm (w) x 80. 6 mm (h), weighs 41. 69 grams
