A Radio Operator and Air Gunner Badge, by Wilhelm Deumer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac ribbon show its age(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen mit Blitzbndel). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a circular base, maker marked W. DEUMER,
